Edgy Satirical Site is Important for History

The site Encyclopedia Dramatica is the edgy offensive version of Wikipedia that tracks internet drama. Founded in 2004 by Sherrod DeGrippo and has since been owned by a fragmented group. The site has had issues with hosting providers, DDOS mitigation services, state actors, and domain registration.  You can say the uncertainty caused by tech providers is because the site contains pornographic images, racist content, xenophobic content, and “Hate” Speech; The Wiki even has a page called “High Score” which ranks the top 50 deadliest mass shooters in history.

Many would say that this wiki/internet forum has no value because of the hate it is filled with but in reality, it is the most comprehensive internet record of social interactions covering the boom of online social expression in the early 00s. Even though articles per the wiki style guide are to be biased, and some information is completely fabricated it still shows an accurate viewpoint at the time it was written. It is the determination of Goliad™ that Encyclopedia Dramatica is of significant historical value, and would be a disservice to future historians for anything to happen to the site.

Goliad Technologies is not affiliated with Encyclopedia Dramatica, nor does it endorse viewpoints expressed therein.

Goliad™ Technology Fund

Giving students, teachers, and educational non-profits a second chance at realizing their goals.

We live in a world where technology is everything; it is in the way we connect with others, facilitates our mobility, supports our businesses, and is even critical in life and death situations such as powering hospital machinery. Having traversed so many areas in ordinary life, so too have opportunities to study and research increased to better the current offerings while keeping in step with the ever-dynamic field. A lot of money is thus continually invested to facilitate this progressive approach.

However, this is not always the case everywhere. This was made much more apparent by the Covid-19 pandemic which has brought to light the glaring disparity between the haves and have-nots. The inequality is something that might have passed before but is currently derailing progress, especially for the less fortunate who have simply become ‘the forgotten’ as the world tries to get back on its feet. This huge economic gap is affecting the livelihoods of most families and the future of students who have the potential to turn things around. With most investors concentrating on reviving their businesses while NGOs are struggling to meet the rising demand in needy cases, donations to help the less fortunate have dwindled down. It is for this reason that we decided to step in and organize this campaign.

Our hope is to be able to raise funds that will help alleviate this situation for the hundreds of thousands of people who have had to rely on financial aid to make it through.

We are a small and lean organization that is nimble and can make changes quickly. We also do independent research in technology.

The Cause

The Goliad™ Technology Fund is committed to raising money for technology grants which will be awarded to students, educational nonprofits, and teachers who are in need of financial aid. Our goal is to provide them with necessities to help advance their professional aspirations such as Wi-Fi access points to students without home internet, laptops for college students, educational aids for teachers, along with the technology services that we will provide directly to them like our internal cloud services and access to IT professionals for consultations.

We kindly request that you support us in this campaign cause which will transform lives and give the beneficiaries a second chance at realizing their goals. All donations made will be tax deductible.

Thank you so much for your contributions.

The Stable Cloud

Samuel Calkin, Managing Director

We are a 501(c)(3) fighting the good fight against big tech censorship of our leaders, ideas, and religion; we plan to fight them in the courts

How would you feel about having your data hosted on a provider with strict privacy policies? One that will never sell your data or track your movement does not make money on advertising. A non-profit that works for the benefit of society that charges on a sliding scale for services, those whose mission is fighting for civil rights, free speech, providing for underrepresented communities, and providing free services to charities and the communities?

That platform is The Stable Cloud.

So you are looking to host something, a web application, website, VM, Database. Is it an unpopular opinion, no problem? We will host anything protected under the United States Constitution and indemnify you for hosting it if we believe it is in the country’s best interest or Constitutionally protected. We will host any speech, but we are not just for radicals, anarchists, and rebels. Well, no, we want to host your blog, your family photos, cat pictures, your church’s website, your child’s school’s website, well, everything.

It’s all about contracts. Everyone who uses our service has the option to have a signature guaranteed. This involves a contract for service that is sealed or notarized by Goliad Technologies on physical paper (with a digital copy) in clear English of what can and can’t be done. We will also make contracts with price guarantees and guarantees of renewal of the contract. We Will not take down a website without a court-ordered injunction from a US court as long as it complies with US Law; we will not give away user information without a warrant from a US court.

Goliad Technologies is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that is engaged in protecting people’s civil rights online(All donations are tax-deductible, by the way). We also provide job training in technology and produce original research in cloud technologies.

We Love All Speech

The Liberator – The First 3d printed gun

Ever since Cody Wilson’s Defense Distributed fired the first 3d-printed gun into the world on May 6, 2013, we have thought that hosting such files is one of the best litmus tests for a cloud provider on free speech. We believe code is free speech and has constitutional protection as does firearms so 3d-printed CAD files are protected by two amendments. We won’t get into politics because we can’t, but we have to thank the individuals fighting the good fight on the front lines of free speech, @Ivan_Is_Back, @CtrlPew, @DefDist, and many others.

501(c)(3) Status

Today we have received our determination letter from the IRS confirming that we are a 501(c)(3) organization and that all donations are tax-deductible starting from our founding on March 2, 2021. This determination letter is a huge boost to our civil rights fight for free speech on the internet and becoming the WebHost of last resort.

It’s hard to know what’s right

It’s hard to undo the past, so how do you keep society safe from ideas that may end in the death of people like Facebook’s enabling of the Myanmar genocide. Which killed tens of thousands of the Rohingya ethnic group through free speech on it’s platform. Free speech can be one of the most deadly freedoms in modern western democracies you can look at the culmination of the Q movement till the January 6th riot at the capital which lead to the death of a police officer, property damage, and structural harm to our democracy.

What obligation do platforms have to regulate free speech on their platforms, how do they know what they are doing is truly the right thigh to do? What if the conspiracy is true? What should be the focus maximize free speech or minimize violence and civil strife?
